Today, the “Hill” at Poland Spring is unique because of the partnership that exists between several entities dedicated to preserving the rich history of the area. We offer our visitors a chance to understand the history of the region, state and country through our historic buildings and educational programs.

 
With a lengthy list of notable historic figures that have stayed and played at Poland Spring; we also give our visitors the opportunity to recreate and socialize in similar fashion as did presidents, McKinley, Kennedy and Taft, or sports figures like Babe Ruth, Sonny Liston and Arnold Palmer or even like stars Joan Crawford, Jimmy Durante and William Shatner.

 
But Poland Spring is not unto its own and as a part of the Town of Poland, we want the citizens of Poland to feel like this is someplace they can be proud of. To accomplish this we wanted to invite citizens, civic organizations and the members of the surrounding communities to take part in our open house.
